Renaissance Cars was a U.S.-based electric vehicle startup founded by Bob Beaumont in Palm Bay, Florida. The company is best known for developing the Tropica Roadster, a lightweight electric sports car featuring an aluminum backbone chassis, plastic body panels, and removable lead-acid battery packs. It was an early attempt to combine sporty design with electric mobility.
