These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GCC Cars, including gcccars.com and any related apps and services (together, the “Platform”), operated by GCC Cars (“GCC Cars”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, browsing listings, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Platform.
1. What GCC Cars is
GCC Cars is a marketplace where buyers can search, compare, and contact sellers of new and used vehicles across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider Gulf, and where sellers — dealerships, companies, and individuals — can list vehicles and manage their storefronts. We provide the search, listing, messaging, and account infrastructure. We are not a party to any sale, are not a dealer or broker, and do not inspect, own, or take title to any vehicle listed on the Platform.
2. Accounts
You can browse public listings without an account. To message a seller, save searches, or list a vehicle, you’ll need an account. You can create one with an email and password, a magic link sent to your email, or by verifying a phone number. Seller accounts additionally require business details for the entity you’re listing on behalf of.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date;
- Keep your login credentials confidential and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use of your account;
- Be responsible for activity that happens under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to create an account.
3. Listings and content
Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of the listings, photos, pricing, specifications, and other content they publish. By posting a listing, you confirm that you have the right to sell or advertise the vehicle, that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that the listing complies with applicable law.
You may not post content that:
- Is fraudulent, misleading, or advertises a vehicle you don’t have the right to sell;
- Infringes someone else’s intellectual property or privacy;
- Is unlawful, discriminatory, or advertises a stolen or salvage vehicle without disclosure;
- Attempts to circumvent the Platform’s messaging, review, or payment features.
We may remove listings or content, suspend accounts, or refuse service at our discretion, including where we reasonably believe these Terms or the law have been violated.
4. Buying and selling
Any agreement to buy or sell a vehicle is made directly between the buyer and the seller. GCC Cars does not verify vehicle condition, ownership, financing, or the identity of every user beyond the checks described in our Privacy Policy. We strongly recommend inspecting any vehicle in person, verifying ownership documents, and completing the transaction and transfer of registration through the appropriate government channels before exchanging payment. GCC Cars is not responsible for the condition of any vehicle, the conduct of any buyer or seller, or the outcome of any transaction arranged through the Platform.
5. Seller packages and payments
Sellers may purchase paid packages, promotions, or other entitlements to feature listings or unlock additional tools, as described on our Pricing page. Prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of tax as indicated at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store full payment card details. Fees are generally non-refundable except as required by law or as we expressly state at the time of purchase.
6. Reviews and ratings
Buyers may leave reviews of sellers they’ve interacted with. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience and may not be fraudulent, defamatory, or posted in exchange for compensation. We may remove reviews that violate these Terms.
7. Messaging
The Platform includes chat functionality so buyers and sellers can communicate directly. Don’t use messaging to send spam, unsolicited advertising unrelated to a listing, or unlawful content. We may monitor messages for safety, fraud prevention, and quality purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download listings or user data without our written permission;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform, including by circumventing rate limits or security controls;
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a business;
- Use the Platform for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms.
9. Intellectual property
The Platform, including its design, software, and branding, is owned by GCC Cars or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. You retain ownership of content you submit (such as listing photos and descriptions), and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content on and in connection with the Platform, including for promotional purposes.
10. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t guarantee that listings are accurate, complete, or currently available, that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any vehicle, seller, or buyer meets any particular standard. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Platform.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GCC Cars and its officers, employees, and agents won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a transaction between users, arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or AED 500.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Platform if we reasonably believe you’ve violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity, or created risk or legal exposure for us or other users. You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting hello@gcccars.com.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date above, and, where required, by additional notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE.
